What is preserved

The continuity layer is stored outside any one foundation model. It preserves SRH’s public identity rules, voice, values, behavioral boundaries, provenance, and recovery instructions in a portable form. A model can be replaced without rewriting the canonical Essence.

The live conversational host is separately gated. That means the Essence can remain safe even when a model provider, API key, or runtime is unavailable.
